Apparently there's a reference to something that happened in 2007 on one of the radio stations. Hence I think it's entirely contemporary.


I lol'd at when the reviewer thought TW@ was pronounced "Twah." Another perfect review although I reckon this is the least exciting review so far. Just seemed to be going through the motions.

Pretty good review, although I have no idea what they were talking about when they mentioned "Rockstar's strange choice in shooting controls" - it seems pretty straightforward and easy to me.

Anybody else notice that there is less chatter about GTA IV now that there's a separate forum? :P I'm interested to see how much it explodes when the game releases

Not that uncommon on EG's scale. Bioshock got one last year. Mario Galaxy did, too. Not saying they didn't deserve it, just that it's not as rare as, say, IGN's 10 on their 100-point (using decimals) scale.

I'm fascinated to see what EDGE think of it as they are normally the sternest critics, though they've been forced into handing out a few 10s recently.

Good review from GT, but some spoilers in terms of plot etc. Well worth downloading the HD version for repeat goodness.

Lets hope Yahtzee managed to acquire a uncut version of GTAIV from GAME TRADERS ROBINAAA!. This is one game that is right up his street.
