Portal Level 11 Help

I'm new to this PORTAL game the orange box. I NEED HELP WITH LEVEL 11 PLEASE!!!! As soon as you go up the stairs level 11 & go through the portal there ia a pole with a red button to push. Can someone please help me with step by step directions through level 11. Japansake@aol.com
