I'm feeling pretty brainless right now, so could anybody give me some recommendations for games where you can blow up pretty much anything?(ie: Mercenaries or any other games like that.)

Loved Worms when I was younger, hated the 3D editions.

The only thing about Worms that I can't quite stand now is that it's turn-based.
Which is where Liero comes in, it's pretty much Worms without the turns and with added blood and gore.

Used to be a blast back in the day but it's very dated nowadays.

I think I played Faces of War before, it's that WW2 RTS where you can directly control a unit right?

It's still in development last I heard. Criterion even made a reference to Black on the Crash FM ingame radio. ("Ok we have a J. Keller asking what car looks best in black? I didn't know they HAD cars in black...WOAH WOAH easy there big guy no need to get angry!").

So I don't think they've forgotten about it just yet. Now that Paradise is finished that should leave them open for some more gun porn. Maybe now they will be able to deliver the level of destruction they promised us in the first game.

Crackdown was fun while it lasted. Pile up as many ragdolls and cars in one place as you can (preferably an area cluttered with buildings), place a shit ton of Limpet Charges in/around it, stand back and watch the fireworks.

BlackI though about getting this game. I've heard from some places that it's main drawback was that is it too short, despite being insanly fun. Is this true? I don't want a game that'll last no more than 3 hours and still costs $19 U.S. dollars. (That's how much it costed the last time I checked.)

To the OP: Yeah, not many games I've ever played that bests the level of destruction (and fun) that can be had in Mercenaries though. Not even the GTA series what with it's static environments and all. :thumbs:

Black is fun for a little bit, not much more than a pretty (for it's generation) boomfest, though. Worth a rental, or if you find it cheap.

I thought Crackdown was alright. But the health system sucked. I own Mercenaries and yes it is a huge blow up fest. And yay for Black 2! Yeah it was short but very pretty for a ps2 game.
