A mall would be great.

The infected have secret passages that they use to ambush the survivors, so maybe on a mall map they could just burst out of shops :)

as long as it wasn't really linear.

as in the mall has multible directions to go, and you can go in every store.

that'd be tight.

oh and what if you could pick up items out of each store and use them to kill the zombies, so essentially the entire mall becomes a weapon. And you could take pictures too.

hey, they could just make it a free download, and if it's your thing than you can run that with your friends, but you have got to admit, the mall setting is very versatile for zombie fighting.

As long as it doesn't have a video game store that promotes L4D, I'll be happy.
