Reasons to be a pc gamer in 2008, moved and updated

I want DemiGod, but am put off by the multiplayer aspect. I tend to prefer good single-player to good multiplayer.

Everything else looks awesome though. Lots of UE3 and Source engine games coming too, which is ace.

From the looks of it, if you have a PC that was built within the last decade, you should be able to play 90% of those games.

You really think that stuff is enough for high-quality and 1280x1024 res? I hate butchering quality for performance, especially when I know the game can look better.

The only one that stands out for me (appart from Age of Conan :cheese: ) is Totems. I loved Outcast, and the concept of a Parkour based game from those guys sounds intriguing.

I honestly hope it doesn't come to PC, because the GTA community's PC part is VERY elitist, and full of assholes.

Also, Jagged Alliance 3 might or might not turn out good, it's being made on the S2(Silent Storm engine), but the devs behind it aren't the most experienced(It's some eastern european newcomer company iirc).

It might not be confirmed, but with 15 Million potential customers out there in Steam land it's an absolute certainty it wlll be released for the PC down the road at some point. If your writing code for the 360 it's no big thing to get it onto the PC let's be honest here.

I don't really know exactly what you're talking about there. From my personal experience I would say quite the opposite, they're comitted to the game and produce a large amount of awesome mods/skins/models/whatever.
