My end of semester photo project

This was my end of semester photography project, it is all done with film and printed in the dark room, please visit or tell me what you think (as in feedback, compliments, hate mail, etc...)

Interesting. Are those photos you created using software? I'm still learning stuff like Adobe Photoshop and the like so I'm a n00b to video editing. :rolleyes:

To answer you, Saturos, it was all done in the dark room with 35 mm negatives and acetates.

Nice, very creative. Darkroom stuff is practically prehistoric. I used to do a lot of it myself before digital cameras and Photoshop. Threw away (sold) all my old 35mm gear and darkroom stuff, after, oh..... I'll not count the years.

What I'd like to try though is a daguerreotype, that's prehistoric and amazing

Darkroom enthusiasts are a dying breed. :( It's nice to see some people who are still into the lost arts. Polaroid has announced recently that they are getting out of the disposable film industry. Good luck in your future darkroom creations on this note chimpmunk. ;) TBH, I have yet to seen digital photography produce pictures that rivals disposable film and cameras. :P Finding quality digital cameras, printers, and software can be tricky business for the uninformed.

I'll have to disagree on that, as Much as I love film, digital can yield amazing results, some previously impossible (especially with the rise of Photoshop).

But I still like film though, especially for colour photography.

And me and my friend recently bought a 4x5 camera, so i'll keep to film too!

You really can't beat the dynamic range of film.

I have to bow down to that, for now.

I'm pretty sure in ten years from now, sensor will have a higher dynamic range than films. Keep in my film had 200 years to reach perfection, image sensors are barely, what? 30- 50 years old? And that's not their years of widespread use wich are closer to 10 i'd say.
