#halflife2 attempted takeover - information within

Right, a lot of you are wondering what happened in the irc channel recently. "Himself" was hacked and his Q auth was used to gain ops within the channel, boot everyone and set invite.

Unfortunately #feds have ( for reasons beyond me but I, like many others, have never had much faith in the channel ) moderated their channel so it was hard to get help.

LinX joined the channel and sorted it all out. Himself's account has been terminated and ops removed until he gets some security sorted.

My script does the authing for me. Donu how much secure it os but it's probably better than perform. I use nnscript :)

actually, i HAD a firewall, ZoneAlarm, an old version but it was running.. noticed it after the takeover attempt happened. i downloaded 4.0 pro, hopefully this one works better... :|
