Wow, one of the best browser games I've ever played. I wandered into Numbers' signature, and it looked interesting.. a game where your decisions alter your nation, and in turn your rankings. I love how personalized it seems, My national animal is the Pikachu! AND I JUST PASSED A LAW THAT MAKES PIKACHU HUNTING ILLEGAL! SHIT! FREAKIN' AWESOME!
It's really neat to play over time, especially when I only really get to go on for about an hour every day.

Man, it's been years since I played Nationstates.

The Something something of Mul Ting Pot is probably long gone. I wonder if the Crowbar Gulf still exists...

I've had a lot of fun with Nation States in the past, I usually have a serious nation and a crazy nation. Every time I play it I wish someone would make a more advanced game with the same general idea, SimSociety or whatever.

There's a very advanced geo-political strategy game that focuses on personal interaction as well as global, called Geo-Political Simulator, from a french dev, the precursor to the game, entitled Mission President, was rushed out to release in France last year to come out right before French presidential elections, sadly as result of it being rushed, it was buggy like hell, though with the latest 1.1 beta, the truly gamebreaking bugs are almost all gone.

Last time I heard, Geo-Political Simulator is due out early this year, with the French version coming in February, and the Russian and other language versions following very shortly there-after.

Interesting I'll have to look into this.

Also I find this interesting it is a listing by popularity of the various types of Nations you can create (circa 2004)
