Pirates of the Burning Sea

It's released on the 22nd January but if you pre-order you can start playing now.

I'm just wondering though, before I shed out ?25, I played the Stress Test (early beta stages) and wasn't too thrilled by it, having such huge hype for it the write-ups and website glorified a rather average game.

For those who are participating in the pre-boarding (from pre-ordering the game) or late beta testing stages shed any light to if it's worth getting? Pros/cons?

It was my most anticipated game of all time.

Sadly, I won't be buying it until they fix a lot of the stuff, or if they can't change it much to match my(reasonable) expectations of how it should have been, I will never get it.

I had the, perhaps too rosy, image of people becoming a crew on a ship and each player having a role on that one ship, and having the view of combat 1st person style.

Exactly what the perfect pirate game would be, sir. Sadly never to happen though.
