Who are your favorite artists?

Mine:
Salvador Dali
R.Crumb
Da Vinci (love his anatomy related work)

If it's a non-famous or unrecognizable artist, post some of their work, or your favorite work by them.

Banksy.

If art is saying something without saying anything, he's the god of art (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banksy).

Im not a fan of the big names. Probably just because ive seen it so much, and they get so much recognition already. They get their due credit though.

Probably my two most favorite are Zdzislaw Beksinski (http://www.beksinski.pl/), Marek Denko (http://www.marekdenko.net/),

I intend to get a specific Dali tattoo when I am an older adult.

I <3 most surrealist artists, especially Magritte.

As for more obscure artists, Aya Takano:

And Audrey Kawasaki:

And some others that I can't think of right now.

Edit: Oh oh alsooo I really dig Edward Gorey. I've never really been into the whole goth scene or anything, but his art style is gorgeous. The textures are stunning.

Hands down one of the best 3D artists I've ever seen. He constantly pumps out stellar material made in Blender.

Here is one of his many works, I hope you check more of them out :)

Today I was thinking about how awesome Ralph McQuarrie was.

If it wasn't for him Star Wars would have flopped at a New Hope, his stuff is awesome.
