Anyway ... I'm sort of glad its so far off. I don't see myself buying a PS3 for anything other than LBP.

Agreed, I'm not a console person at all (last console our family got was the n64) but LBP turned me on to the PS3. I like buying the stuff that everyone else doesn't have (in other words, I generally don't like feeling like I'm on a bandwagon. Nothing on the 360 interests me that the ps3 wouldn't have, and the Wii is interesting but if I'm going to buy a console I want something basic before I decide I want an interesting console as well. Plus, the Wii doesn't have any games I really want. Also, my close friend has a 360 and a Wii) The PS3 cought my eye when it was boasting all its physics simulation power, specifically those tech demos. I look forward to physics-rich games on the PS3.

Though I have no idea when I'm getting a PS3, depends on how much money I have around the time LBP comes out or sometime after that... Currently there are way more things I would rather spend my money on than a PS3.

To be honest, i've never understood what the fuss is about this. . .map builders in platformers are nothing new. . . i think this is going to be a Forge. It looks like it's going to be alot more than it really is.
