we have found evidence that Rareware is planning on releasing even more of their back catalog onto Xbox Live Arcade, specifically, Perfect Dark and the original Banjo-Kazooie. Expect more on at least Goldeneye 007 later this year.

Say it is so. OH SAY IT IS SO!

Rare should release their real classics like Cobra Triangle, so I can experience the 'joy' of hurling my controller against a wall in frustration again.

Hey Rare. How about putting some of those out on the Virtual Console?

Or Battletoads.

Ehhh, Rare being Microsofts little investment these days, that would be unlikely. Besides..... I'd prefer them on XBLA if they offer multiplayer.

Hey, they did release the Donkey Kong Country series, and they're still making DS games. To be fair, Nintendo owns those characters, whereas Rare wholly owns Banjo and Joanna, so Nintendo would likely have to pay a royalty fee of some sort to make them available on their network.

Well the current plan seems to be trying to sell more consoles because the games will be on the arcade. After a few months though I don't see why they couldn't then release them on VC and rake in even more money.

Well that's true. As sea said, Nintendo would more than likely have to pay a fee to host them. If that were the case I'd imagine them being slightly more expensive too.

Not that it matters to me too much, I have both a 360 and a Wii, but the clincher for me would be multiplayer over the net. Frankly, the 360 would probably be the better option for this.
