Not sure wether this is for the general discussion or for art/gfx, but the fact is this: I would like the help/assistance of a good 2D artist to do some 64x64 game tiles for a little adventure game I'm making. I posted a pathfinding demo in the general forum, and the demo can be found here: www.willsmithportfolio.com/Area80/area80.html
Full credits will be included in the game. I don't want any large commitments or anything. If you would like to create a 64x64 tile or two please send them to me in a zipped (rar'ed whatever) non-lossy format such as png or bmp, and more than likely it'll show up in the game. The specific feel / theme of the first segment of the game is a run-down far-future technology environment, still very functional. Any tiles that go along with that theme would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to do a large part of the gfx work, beyond tiles, such as user interfaces and npcs, that would be really great too - please contact me at FictiousWill@netscape.net if you're really keen on it.
So check out the little pathfind demo, take a look at the placeholder gfx for a bit of a basis - any art would be greatly appreciated and warmly received and credited!
Thanks,
FictiousWill
