They look good, you should try and Digitally colour them using photoshop or something.

Don't be so mean. His stuff isn't terrible, in fact it's a pretty good level of drawing from what I've seen in my life, he just needs more practice, and I can tell by the way he draws that he can easily progress to very good drawings if he continues to practice.

I used to draw like that when I was 11-12, I am no art god, but I can draw pretty well now because I've learned and practiced. So regardless of his age, whether he is 12, or 17, he's able to progress.

the vort picture is actually really well done, the proportions are almost exact, there is some good use of shading, I think we have a great artist in the making, keep at it!

Heh. SOOO much better than I could do.

I try to draw a vortigaunt and I end up with a series of rectangles interconnected with lines.

I don't thing I got the Vort's eye right; I should have made it more reflective/shiney.
