I need a Wii in the UK, Wmids

I'm looking to buy a Wii for my parents. Every main street store (Bham city centre) have sold out and have no word on the next batch. Some managers are saying they won't get a delivery of Wii's until Jan/Feb.....next year!

Have any of you UKer's seen any wii's? I don't want to order off the net I need to get one from a high st store.

Wolverhampton Dudley Street GAME has them on/off without warning. I have a mate who works there so I'll ask him and see what's the word on stock.

The Wii is going into a drought stage again. Amazon sold 1400 in just under 10 minutes the other day. The way my mate got one last year is by calling GAME every morning at about 8 30 and if they had one driving like the clappers to get there before it opened at 9 when they did have them.

This lack of Wiis is the only way the PS3 is going to sell this Christmas. ;)

See if you can find a place that will pre-sell you one. Barring that and camping out, there's no way you'll just "get lucky."

I went out for milk the other day and picked up a Wii by accident.

Walked past Game on my way to Sainsbury's and spotted a line of about 10 women. Oh really? I said to myself. So on my way back, milk in hand, I popped in behind the last two women. Sure enough Game had got their Wii stock in that morning and had 5 left. I bought one.

Moral of the story? Milk is good for you, go buy some.

Toys r us (wolverhampton rd)are getting stock next week, so anyone who wants one will need to ring them every day next week at 9am. Like me.
