I was thinking about making a "Games for Windows LIVE" account soon and wanted to know a few things:
1. Will my gamertag then display 360 games and PC games if I were to use the same gamertag?
2. Do all "Games for Windows" games get added to my Gamertag or just the "Games for Windows" games that use LIVE?

I think if you already have an Xbox Live account, you can use that for Windows Live.

That doesn't answer my question, I already knew that.

Thanks Cormeh that answers my first point and sort implies the answer to my second point.

1) Yes
2) No. There's a subtle difference. There's a lot of titles that have the "Games for Windows" branding on them, but they are not Live-enabled, thus you never log into Live or your gamertag. If it says Live on the box, then it will have achievements, you can log into Live and all of that other stuff.
Here's two examples:
Live-enabled game: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Halo-2-PC/sem/rpsm/oid/178875/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
Notice the "Live" word near the top right of the box art
Non-Live enabled game: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/BioShock-PC-710425219627/sem/rpsm/oid/185718/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Nope. Games for Windows is a branding item to unify PC games. Live is a whole other ball park, and hasn't really taken off too much yet.
If you remember the original Xbox days, not all games were Live-enabled, and it's like that now for PC. Give it a little time and more and more titles will start adopting it, especially since they see how addictive achievements can be to the life of the game.
