why is that texture detail doesnt go any higher then normal? or is this just me?

I can put them on Very High on my comp atleast.

think you need 512MB ram on ur graphics card to unlock that, im just guessing

I can't go any higher than Normal for model detail, and all my texture settings are at Extra. :/

I hate it when games do that. It wouldn't hurt people's computers to try!

I'm pretty sure the Model and Water Detail settings top out for everybody at Normal.

When you go into the texture settings and you want to manually set them, I think you can get them up to Extra or Very High or something.
