Do you guys like him much? There seems to be a lot of angst against most online comics / funnies / etc here, and was wondering if it was a good idea to jump on the "like" bandwagon.

I've gotten quite a few laughs out of Zero Punctuation, and I agree with a lot of that guy's comments. I don't see any reason not to like it.
And why let the community decide wether you should like it or not? If you like it, then like it.

Whoever voted "no" should be ashamed of themselves.

He gives very good reviews and they are incredibly lol at the same time.
Only the best. I'd go gay for Yahtzee.

I like about 1/2 of his stuff. Angry Video Game Nerd about 3/4. I'm never disappointed or felt like I Wasted my time watching the videos though.

Like him. The style of his humor really appeals to me and I agree with him on a lot of things. Pinch of salt with others.

43 votes and only 1 "no". I'd say that's pretty much a consensus.
I really like his humour, even though, yeah, some stuff I take with a pinch of salt. But even when he's critisizing games I enjoy, I'll find myself agreeing with a large number of flaws, or atleast tropes or whatever, that he points out. While lolling, that is.

The thing I love most about the ZP episodes is that I can show them to people who no nothing about PC's or Consoles, let alone gaming, and they still find it as funny as I do. I'd never heard of Psychonauts and now I want it, I'd never heard of pebbel but now I hate everything it stands for! It's well done, well writen, and funny - what's not to like?

Yahtzee's a pimp.
The reason many online gaming comics get badmouthed is because they generally suck. Shitty uninspired art, way too many inside jokes, and a general lack of funny. Zero Punctuation on the other hand, is supremely brilliant in every way. If it was just Ben Croshaw writing an article, it would be mediocre. But with the dead-on illustrations, it just becomes brilliant.

Viper, Peggle is a fun and addictive game. If you got the Orange Box for PC you got a free demo in it.
In fact, too addictive. :(

He's hilarious even if some of his reviews are flawed (not considering multiplayer and whatnot).
I look forward to his update every week.

See! Even Yoda loves Yahtzee!
But yeah, ZP reviews are awesome. I especially loved the Halo 3 one, which pretty much summed up the whole experience for me.

Love his style of humour. Even if I didnt agree with his opinions (most of them are quite fair and unbiased), he is still someone I look forward to hearing review games.

OK he looks weird, but he sure as hell is good at comic relief when it comes to oh so serious games these days.

I was actually just watching it earlier, it's a pretty funny series if you want to call it that. Good reviews too, mainly because he enjoyed the Orange Box. =)

I had never heard of him before until I saw his Bioshock review. I think he's great, I usually agree with most of what he says and he gets kudos for being a smart-ass limey.

Yeah i usually agree with him too. He was spot on with the Bioshock review and Halo 3 as well. I find that agree with him more than any other reviewer out there. Not to mention he's pretty damn funny too.
