I don't like to brag.
AND I generally HATE hype. It makes terribly antsy.

That being said, I'm so impressed with myself on this drawing I just finished. It's already my favorite out of everything in this post. I don't want to give away what it is so I'll just say this:

It's one half-life thing fighting another.
It's also something I never saw in Half-Life but should have.

I really just want to go home from work now and post it. DAMN.
Would it be bad form to use the office scanner?

Sorry. Had to stay late at work and the first snow of the year made all the trains crazy slow. Also it's my Mum's birthday so I had to take her out to dinner. ANYWAY, here it is. I like it. I hope you do to.

I might have screwed up drawing Dog (sorry!) but I'll post it when I get home anyway.
It's more of a study of Dog then a work of art. Hopefully later on I'll be able to put Dog in some situation.

Just don't expect anything exciting.

It's here. I sketched it first to get the look right. Still don't think it's there but it's the only character I had to study before I drew it.

I'll try to do all the zombies next. Might have to wait till Monday.
(can't seem to draw if I'm not at work)

It usually not that hard.
I've been doodling all my life.
And I work in creative at an ad agency so I can get away with doodling at work more then I could when i went to school. I bring idea doodles to my bosses and they draw on top of them and sell the ideas.

It's a lucrative world.

Anyway, I don't know if anyones interested in this sort of thing. Never had to do it with any of the other HL2 drawings.

Word of the wise to zombies: Stay out of close proximity to zombines.

That kinda drawing sounds more like a work of art then a doodle.

I don't know why everyone gets the impression that antlions only live in sand...

HL2 - Yes they do live on a beach, but they also come out of grass and soil

EP1 - They bury through soil and rocks to reach the city 17 surface

EP2 - The antlions live in caves in a mine shaft and can bury through the grass to reach you, at the beginning of Freeman Pontifex.

and EP3 - Wouldnt suprise me if the antlions buried through the snow or thin snow with grass beneath

Sry for buggin you, I just have a really strong sense that we won't have seen the end of these burrowing fiends, maybe a white/camo type antlion that has evolved slightly to handle arctic like conditions.

Fact is, after the burrows we won't through, the Antlion has seen its climax, and most likely all we'll see are dead antlions and maybe one or two. But seriously, no more!

Yeah, Dogs legs are so weird. There is alot going on around that guys model.

Which is why I'm not drawing him for at least a little while.
I might do some shading work and repost it to get some depth to those legs .

The next one will be coloured.

When I went for the interview I still wasn't sure if it was the real name of the company as the office was super hard to find. Thought it might actually be a secret.

Check out the website, it's pretty crazy.

I'll let you guys know when the games out. It's a MMO launching with a Canadian TV series. Don't know if you'll get the channel outside of Canada but the game worlds will be browser based and free.

Many doodles I do, or even commercial work I've done ends up in my sprays if I can find an appropriate use for them.

For example, this drawing was originally done for some secondary school somewhere. I drew a bunch of animals. Long Story. The spray is especially funny in TF2 when somebody is led towards it only to get killed by a sentry with my friends spray behind it (I'll explain later) but its been more useful to me in L4D.
