Self Portraits

I had to do this for my 2D Design class. :frown:

Each is 5x7, painted in oils. The colors were all mixed from the primary's, yellow, red, and blue.

The only one I like a little is the first one, the rest are all garbage - especially Mr.Crosseyed AKA: #3. Actually the 4th has only one redeemable quality, that being how close I came to my actual skin tone, other than that it's all crap and I wont be adding any of it to my portfolio.

PS: I have other stuff from this class - none of them are paintings, but all of them are probably worse than this.

I agree the first one is the best by far. Maybe it's just me but the top right one looks like a cross between alyx and gordon somehow...

Shit, why use oils D;
If you're trying to learn design or what ever, use acrylic or something cheaper.
Otherwise, more practice.

No choice - I didn't buy them though, the instructor of the class had them out on a table for us to use.

The 3rd makes you look just like a character from Robot Chicken. Which is awesome by default. :thumbs:
