EDIT: got it working by replacing a gcf. Now after 20-30mins of gameplay, all the sounds and dialog boxes will become distorted. What is happening? for example, the madipak woman say "cover me while i reload", but it sounds like "c-c-c-ccc-c-co-v-"

well none of the character would respond to me, apart from the scripted parts, e.g. the very beginning.
and also now my subtitles are goind doolally, and after 5 mins the sound goes.
