The geographical restrictions tell me that it will ship to Ireland (Where I live, duh). Any ideas/advice?

I haven't entered a shipping method yet. There isn't an option to enter one yet.

Maybe Valve should do what Stardock does with their games. Allow you to download the game upon release, and send you a hard copy later.

Try another site? I personally hate Amazon with a passion; they always seem to screw my orders up. www.gameplay.co.uk is a favourite of mine, though I don't know if they ship to Ireland or not.

Yeah, go with Play or some other site, Amazon are ****ing bells when it comes to 'hot' games. Zelda, Bioshock, Halo... all three of them didn't come on the release day, instead they just sent me an e-mail saying it'll be here within the next 4-7 days. I don't want it in the next week, I preordered it so I could get it on the day it came out. They don't even tell you until the release day n' all.
Blargh.

I think my post summed it up quite blatently to be honest - shite. Of course, unless people are okay with things coming days later then they should be then that's alright with me, just sucks to let Amazon walk all over them with their incompetence.
I don't bother with pre-orders/orders anymore anyway, I've had no problems picking a game up on the day and the price difference is never that much to worry about, give or take a couple of quid.

Looking at gameplay.co.uk right now. I can't seem to find any info on whether they'll ship to Ireland though. Maybe I should just buy it in a bloody shop. I'm not sure which is more hassle, trying to get it on the internet or going into the bloody city to get it.
Edit:
OK, they seem to ship to the world. Good good. Is this a very reputable site, BTW? Just being cautious.

Gameplay is a very good site and stockist Rim-Fire, you'll be fine.
They'll notify you about your order in good time and ship it promptly.

cdwow.ie deliver free in Ireland, their prices aren't bad either, an alternative if you dont want a UK based internet seller.
