if i remember correctly the game is shipping with 6 maps, so how many are we going to be playing september 17th?

well all six are preloaded, opened the team fortress 2 content.gcf and all are there so maybe all ??

I would not be to shocked if they only unlocked one, like with CS:S before HL2 went out, but all would be cool.

Yeah they mention in the commentary that they did not want to make a lot of maps, but rather a few very well thought of maps, also they made the Hydro map dynamic to allow for some variation in the map.
