Great new for Bioshock fans. The creator of the Float32 mod for STALKER announced that he's working on a similar mod for Bioshock.
Float32 is a mod for STALKER that rewrites most of the lighting shaders, increasing visual quality and efficiency, thus making it run faster too.

It's pretty badass that there's a mod developer out there who has the capability to improve upon the quality and efficiency of effects in AAA next-gen titles...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing Ennui.
I wish some good single player mods would come out soon. I haven't beaten the game yet, but I feel like I'm going to want to replay it, perhaps with something new. I'm a big fan of small little singleplayer gameplay mods.

Is there anywhere that reviews the float 32 mod, eg performance differences and image quality comparisons? For stalker I mean.

Sweet, I'm looking for any performance boost I can get.
Why hasn't he been offered a big check to work for some beast like EA or Ubi. Too lazy to read any background information on him =/
