Getting steam and HL2 using crossover mac

Thanks for the help in my last question, "What are the real system req..."


My next one is for any who uses a mac to play HL or anyone who knows the procedures to download steam using Crossover.

I've seen some tutorials and examples of this being done and nothing seems to really get at what I don't understand. Once you get Crossover, how do you download Steam?! and after that how do I get Half-life, counter-strike, etc.? And after that, is it possible not to play it in windowed mode (meaning full-screen)?

afaik know you must install windows on a mac pc for it to work. i have never heard of it running on a mac os.

He's using an intel iMac, to the best of my knowlege.

Other than that you say I should use bootcamp to run windows and play it that way?

that video was removed btw. yes that is really the only way,unless you know of someone who has actually installed it on a mac os which i don't think it possible.

its a computer, anything is possible, it would just require a lot of work that very little people would want to do becuase a Mac isnt known to be a gaming machine
