Every time I save a little sister I shoot my shotgun into their face just in case it glitches and kills her resulting in the funniest thing ever.

I feel the same :( . I was planning on havesting the lil' sisters, but it just felt too heartless. After killing her big daddy and seeing her cry, the only way I could feel right about it was to save her so that I could say "Killing her big daddy was for the best" and not feel guilty.

I think this is the only game where I ever felt sympathy for a character not involved in the major storyline.

yeah, they are not involved in the major storyline at all. its not like the whole main point of the game is saving them or not, and its not like the different endings depend on how you interact with them. not at all. they are hardly part of the story at all. the whole game would have been the same without them...

yes but the big daddys and little sisters add to the atmosphere of the game which made the game great.

Edit: also the different endings do depend on how you interact with them. if you harvest one sister out of all of them then you will get the evil ending,but im curious of what happens if you dont do anything to them.

I thought that first one, when the big daddy dies and she's left alone, was really neat.. how you all walk up to her, and she runs away, eventually getting cornered.. I was going for saving, but Once I was too near a little Sister and pressed X(xbox) to reload, and accidently harvested.. gay.
Oh, and Stewie, the endings DO depend on if you save them or not. Even if you just harvest one, you get the evil ending. You have to save every one you get to get the good one.

Well, you don't have to save ALL of them.. just don't harvest any of them.

...I believe that to push forward the story you have to harvest/rescue the first one.
So that question is null and void.

Okay, I've found out there are three endings. One if you don't harvest any, one if you harvest some, and save some, and one if you don't save any. the second and third are the same, but with a different tone of voice from tenenbaum.

Ahaha i must admit ive tried that too.

But yeah, everytime i hear their drone/moan i think 'oh shit', but at the same time 'Hmmm..opportunity'.

'Get em Mr.Bubbles! Get em!'

And yeah the 'Please get up Mr Bubbles! Get up!' cry by the little sisters does actually make me feel bad inside, its weird. First game ive ever played where i actually truly felt bad about a decision i made.

Have to say though, was playing today and was watching a big daddy trying to get a little sister out, walked away as one didnt show, then suddenly roared, turned red and pumled me to bits. I didnt react as i was still thinking 'why??? WTF did i do!?!'
