I'm really looking forward to the British. The Americans and Germans both had ridiculous accents and mannerisms. I'm hoping the Brits are equally cliched, and I have my fingers crossed for a Scotch unit (I know we're already getting Canadians).

What I can say is that I can't get it installed. I get an access denied message just before the installing process starts. :|

i had this problem, but i fixed it now and installed the game

Right click on your desktop and create a new shortcut

for the location of the shortcut type in cmd.exe

name it whatever you want it doesn’t matter

right click on that new shortcut and choose “run as administrator”

in the command prompt navigate to the directory you have the installer in…….if you have it on the desktop you would get there by typing in:

cd\Users\[your windows username here]\Desktop

then type in the name of the installer:
COH_OF_Beta_Setup.exe

and press enter…….bingo,done.

now im downloading 300MB patch....

Ill get it, but im sticking to victory point maps only. I just played a normal defeat other opponent type after ages and realised why i went to victory points. Had no means of attacking at all and just flooded his back line with anti-infantry APCs and AT guns, could do nothing, so i just left because i hate stalemates.

500 victory points ftw though, encourages fighting right for the kick off and gives you the key battle areas. Man I have had some amazing fights with them.

I doubt it will just feel like the same game with new units. Even if it does, it doesn't mean it will be bad since COH had already great gameplay.

Too bad I am having the exact same connection problems I had while playing the beta last year. I haven't been able to connect to a game yet. You would have thought that Relic fixed their netcode by now ....
