There is an eBay auction for a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII prototype concept car. It has doors that just fold and go under the car. Real or not, its awesome.

weter or not the backstory is true I can't tell(seems plausibel)...but the actual doors in that video clip is real enough...

I can see why the executives would turn it down though...doesn't look good and I could see a myriad of problems cropping up do to the design... first of you would definitly want to keep those doors clean before letting them slide as you'd otherwise scratch the entire door...

The backstory seems retarded "they wanted all evidence destoryed"..yet somehow they know about it, AND HAVE THE CAR. Story sucks.

But the car itself is awesome. If they could perfect the idea of that door, it would be great to have. No more door dings from fat people just throwing their doors open so they can wobble out of their car!
