Nope. You can use the Hopwire though - that's even cooler.

hopwire_vortex 1
give weapon_hopwire
bind p "impulse 101"

Hit P whenever you need more ammo, and be careful to keep the mine away from your allies.

SLAMs aren't really that useful. No-one ever chases you, really.
And, I just realised, SLAMs are the trip-wires and the det-packs from Half-Life, just in one weapon. Cool.

Well in ep2 there are going to be hunters who are going to be chasing you a lot throughout the whole episode excluding the antlion caverns as you sow in the gameplay videos like 5 they follow you into houses and that would make for a perfect time to set traps but I'm not saying that it will happen.

oh no that image.. see i have a problem where if i see many inter criss crossed lines randomly all over, it makes me very uncomfortable and itch all over my body. i dont know why it happens..

They would be useful actually. They are just det-packs with a new skin. Yes hey are still good for traps.

But i don't see how they could have something to do with trip-mines.
