SWG - raids on rebel cities and HQ, massive pvp frag fest with wanker combat medics ruining everybody's fun. Still cherish those SWG memories :)

HLDM - forgot the name of the map, it's the one where you could press a button in the bunker to activate a nuclear blast. Everyone heard the siren and rushed to the bunker before the blast doors closed.

CS - jeepathon2k hilarious map.

Fallout 2 - Frank Horrigan battle.

WoW - the first month before you realize that raiding is all there is left to do.

BF2 - Shock Paddling an entire squad of 6 people without getting shot once.

BF1942 - Flying the B-17.

Vanguard - Hitting cancel on the subscription button.

Doom - Cyberdemon battle.

Syndicate - brain washing hundreds of civilians to follow you then detonating the self destruct bombs on your agents.

Tie Fighter - All of it :D

There's probably a few thousand more FTW gamimg moments I forgot to mention.

Worms Armageddon - Killing everybody else's team using a banana bomb.

Half-Life - Launching the satellite and having that kickass music play. Made you feel really triumphant as if you accomplished something.

World of Warcraft - The beginning of the Ragnaros encounter and watching Majordomo get one-shotted like the little bitch he is.

Half-Life 2 - The entire Citadel chapter. 'Nuff said.

Condemned - Ripping out the final boss' metal bones, piece by piece.

Counter-Strike - In de_dust, where there's that little underpass going across the map? Just waiting at a high perch on either side and sniping the opposition that travels through.

A lot more, but my mind is distracted at the moment.

Building a massive concrete wall stretching from west to east on the last GDI mission, knowing that the AI wouldn't attack it, giving me time to build four bases and harvesting to death all resources.

In that case-

Siphon Filter- in the final battle with Erich Rhoemer, you kill him with a gas grenade rather than anything really creative. I found it somewhat anticlimatic.

Oblivion - realising that incredibly poor bandits were somehow becoming richer and able to afford glass armour and ebony relative to my level for no apparent reason.

Oblivion - Mage's Guild Storyline - WHAT THE ****.

GTA:San Andreas - Wandering through the Mountains near San Fierro when I hear a massive BOOM and look up. A light plane just crashed into the side of a mountain AND BLEW UP LIKE 5 CARS WTF.

Deus Ex - "That's right JC. I'm with the NSF."

Half-Life - Meeting a soldier, thinking "Hey, finally, someone's going to stop the damn aliens!", then hearing a scientist scream and going "Oh shit."

Then getting outflanked and killed in like 4 minutes.

(I was 10 or something).

Red Alert 2 - "Auf Videschen, Commander" BOOM!

Constantly being headshotted by spraying noobs in CSS is the most WTF moment. It pisses me off. Here I am, trying to aim, getting owned by the lame cone of fire and some jackass comes around the corner: "LOGLRGOLRGOLRGRGOLR" and kills me.

Giants - Citizen - Kabuto: All of it, just a brilliant game with some amazingly dry - yet funny humor and original art direction.

MDK I/II: Just the gameplay and art direction, very wtf and very cool.

AVP2: Eating through a mans chest from a first person perspective, just brutal and atmospheric as hell. Not to mention headhunting humans as a predator.

Zelda OoT: Going into the mill and finding the man cranking the music box.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica: Finding out the all of Alfred's secrets.. if you know what I mean.'

Prey: Becoming a miniature on the sphere in the games beginning levels

Soul Calibur: Voldo.. I don't really have to say anything else, he's about 7ft, wears bondage outfits and performs body bending acrobatics, most of his combos involve crab walking :|

Katamari Damacy: Unlike anything I've played before, when I was first plunked down by the King of all Cosmos (who is a very WTF character in and of himself) and introduced to the wacky antics of rolling balls of random materials contained in everyday people's homes I was blown away, gameplay originality at it's finest.

Final Fantasy 9: When the princess cuts off her hair and becomes Dagger

Resi 4: Reloading the Broken Butterfly.

HL2: Walking into the courtyard and beholding the Citadel.

Come to think of it, the final boss fight in almost every game that has a final boss fight. Always a great challenge, and always fun, and always FTW.

Getting swallowed by an Onos. Yeah, the first time that happened i definitively WTF'd big time.

Operation Flashpoint - On the 'Alert' mission where you have to rescue your Lt who has been ambushed. I get out as ordered, and the APC drives off into the distance only to be blown up, only this time, along with my entire squad who failed to get out, including the leader who ordered it. WTF.

Call of Duty 3 - The tank missions. WTF.

Oh, what is the thread title a typo? I missed that. I blame it on ADD.

It's hard to think of anything.

I'll say a big WTF for shooting enemies like 19 times in Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, and either the enemy doesn't notice some of the hits or doesn't die.

Also, when mounting the stationary guns in MoH PA, and suddenly like 50 crazy armed Japanese have a death wish and charge you. They run at you with their bayonets, despite having a rifle. You can stand in front of the gun for eternity and they wait patiently for you to arm yourself before doing a pathetic kamikaze. I guess they just wanted to die by their own guns, since they must know its position and know they could just flank it. (go around the side beyond the turret's range of movement.)

Also, games where the AI actually cheats to win. For example, the enemy AI in Street Fighter II series will do moves that aren't even possible, like 2 second charge moves where it wasn't possible, from what they had done previously, to charge for 2 seconds.
