Help on River

At the part where you ride on the river till you reach a swampy like part of it after you can go any further on the home made water scooter the girl gives you. How do you get past the swampy part since you die if you swim through it?

You can ALWAYS go further with the airboat. Go fetch it.

but the air boat cant get over the vertical feet of concrete

Sorry i was doing too many things at once... Ok i cant get the air boat over the concrete where theres a broken open sewer on the left a ramp halfway into a pit full of water but the ramp is tilted up so i cant get to airboat onto it and if i go up the sewer i get to the other side of the concrete pit but i cant go thruogh the swampy water becuase it kills you before you can get to the other side

Use the barrels.

i cant they sink to quick to jump ill try it though if you can think of anything else please tell me though.

nvm thank you for the barrel idea though i didnt use them to stand on but to put under the bridge so it would raise on end and lower the other end in turn so i could ride the air boat onto it

We all make mistakes that seem silly after we solve the puzzle, though Valve always gives little hints, like one barrel already being in the cage.

There are more similar puzzles to come on that level, I'm forewarning you.

and the fact that they wouldnt put a sweet jump there if u couldnt use it in some way
