I know we have the thread on style, but I think it will be better if we can actually "see" it. So everyone... post your ideas! Carts, environments, characters, props etc. Post em all here.

I don't want to draw my own, mainly because it's hard to think of what a Xen-themed car would look like.

For Shasta, I was thinking he should have a motorbike with chainsaws and flamethrowers or something.

Also, we should have a sort of set of rules for this. Should the avatar be reflected in the driver or the car or does it even matter?

I think having the driver reflect the avatar would be cool, but I can imagine somewhat difficult with some members.

I'm less sure about the cars. If the player's pretty much locked into them, I guess you'd dress them up in a way that falls in line with the avatar or the member's notable traits in posting.

I think the Avatar thing will depend per member. Shasta, for example, will probably not be based soley on his avatar, but more on his reputation. But I do feel that a green, code-like colour scheme would be cool for him.

I thought that we were only going to do that for a few members, for boss-type characters, and everyone else would get a generic cart with a text name floating above them AND/OR a generic cart with a 2D avatar slapped on a block. Like in my awesome mspaint drawing :D

If we want a generic cart, we need to design some variations and let the lead folks decide on what's best, and what's more doable.

Now you know who's contributing guys, you should just bitch slap us into position for specific tasks, because really that's how art direction works, otherwise we'll be here for yonks with nothing of any substance :P.
