Crysis demo confirmed!

A report on the German site PC Games.de has given new details about the impending demos coming for Crysis. Yes, that was plural as both a MP and SP demo are now confirmed.

They are also reporting that there will be a limit of 20,000 keys given for out for the demos. When asked for confirmation about this, we were given this reply:

"All the stuff except the thing about the beta keys is good to go. The information about the beta keys is inaccurate."

When we asked for more details, they said that they could not elaborate at this time.

The Far Cry demo did a huge amount in terms of making me want to play that one like crazy (and see how my system would handle it). I was very happy with the results. Let's just hope I am as happy this time around...:(

me too ..to this day I dont think I've ever spent more time on a demo than I did with the first far cry demo ...heh someone modded a hang glider into the demo and that was it for me; hours of fun

Hahaha! Me too!! Once the editing mod came out it was a crazy festival of sky-high stacks of jeeps falling over and exploding with great physics and effects, not to mention houses in the sky to jump off of and loads of bodies to pile up in funny ways and then blow up. The best demo experience I have ever had.

But the Far Cry demo was just beyond cool, great AI, jaw droppingly beautiful (still is today) and great combat. And Sniping, sexy sniping. I spent more time in that demo than playing Halflife 2 all told.

I'm just hoping the demo features the Aircraft Carrier (Before everything goes tits-up)
I heard that you can provoke a marine to shoot you, and you could have the whole ship turn against you.

Slideshow is better than nothing, just pretend it's the 1920's then you shall be most pleased.

Remember what they said about the specs here, it can run well on top range computers upto 3 years old, so you should beable to atleast have some fun on lower settings shooting trees down and what not.

They have done a lot of optimization into crysis, and I have seen it with my own eyes, and they still have a long way to go to optimize it further

If i'm not mistaken Chevat Yerli has allready said a demo was coming out.
That was months ago though. I want a date of when the demo is coming out ! this is no good to me but nice try :)
