Steam Wont Open!!

I was playing CS:S last night and this morning Steam doesn't open??

I reinstalled it restarted etc and installed off a disc and still doesnt work!?

I am using WinXp home... it has always worked but not now?? why?? help me fix it so i can play the best game ever/!

BTW,, i only installed XP yesterday.

Reinstalling the game a lot doesn't really help you with reinstalling Steam.

Have you tried starting it manually?

Well wtf does it say when you try to open it? Any error messages?

Try using windows defender or something to search for spyware, that fixed it for me looks like u have the icon on the bottom right that indicates you have spyware, remove it then try,
