But the Ps3 wasn't supposed to get all there money back in the first few months.
It's going to sell fine in the coming years, and thats were they'll get there money back tenfold.

Also there aren't any good games accept motorstorm and a few others.
There are going to be PS3 exclusives that will make alot of people buy it.

The only people that make money on their hardware in the first few months is Nintendo. And everyone so far has had a pretty weak launch really. The Wii wins imho, but only thanks to TP. All three systems will do just fine, but hopefully Nintendo will get the most marketshare because I want games that don't focus on slick graphics and such as their main claim to fame. (I am adventure gaming fan, so of course I like the Wii's possibilities the most :E).

sony cant say sell it at this price, its up to the company to make that desision. i work for a company that sells PS3's the the head office people decided to go along with the price raise because they were tired of losing money for every ps3 they sold. Sony asked the company's to sell at this price, and they will make it up in controllers and games, but they didn't because most of them went on ebay first. so after so much loss company's just raised the price where they would make a few bucks off of it. sony is still selling the consoles below cost to the companies, but the companys are refusing now to take sonys. So the price increase is not sonys doing.(well directly)

I know that feeling. When I turned 16, I jokingly asked my father if he was buying me a car, he laughed at me. I bought my first car for $500. When I'd break it, he'd help me fix it at least. (Twisted Metal, Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear Solid. etc etc.) Besides im waiting on a few PS3 games that should be out in the near future. Not to mention Silent Hill in HD is mind blowing.

Cant plug a PS1 into a 60''. Even before the update from sony. Games without built in Progressive scan were just impossible to play. Blurry, cant read any text or see anything really.

Sony are more than just consoles, just like MS are more than just the Xbox. Nintendo on the other hand. Backwards compatibility is lovely sure you can use your old console but then you can't play PS3 games point moot. Give the damn thing some time to get a few good games out. Even the Wii has shit all but tech demos out with one exception (not for me). The 360 has had plenty of time to win users over as well and has some decent games to boot.

The whole "which console is better" argument is a waste of time. Yeah it's pricey but I wonder which of the big 3 will be selling more come 3-4 years.

From what I've read the game isn't really anything spectacular the first few hours but once the story starts to kick in everything goes into a whole new level.

I've seen a few videos of areas not seen until the middle or near the end of the game and those are really something spectacular. Especially this level that's set in a snowy city with flakes zipping past your eyes are just "Holy Shit!". :cheese:
