Hidden Scietist?

I know this has probley been said more times than a fart joke:hmph: at a 2nd graders party but ive never seen it.

In HL1, after the rift is opened and your with the gaurd backtracking, you enter the lobby (place where gaurd tells you about system crash) if you hit the control panel on the enternce doors, one opens. Go under it and you will see a dead gaurd and a live scintist. If you walk up to the scientist, the platform groans and then gives way. Im not saying how the scientist dies (or does he) so youll check it out yourself.

I bet that guy's the true "one man who knows everything." Look how far he got, and he's just an old scientist without a HEV suit or any kind of weaponry. It's a shame he probably died cold and alone. (Unless the portal storms teleported him back to Earth; that'd be something)

Hmmm... I always wondered how some scientists got so far... Maybe that room is a Feeding chamber, that Gargantua just keeps it well guarded... Poor guy, imagine waiting to be eaten *shivers*.

Seems, theres funny places left to find in Xen after almost 10 years. To bad it's so boring to play.
I wonder if that guy has some significance to the story, or if hes just an easter egg. But a scientist, in scientist clothes, probably isn't common at Xen and there might be somthing into it. Or not

He's alive.

When approached, he says a generic Black Mesa comment.

When used, he appears to always say "Yes, let's go".

Also, there's a scientist in one of the displacer locations in OP4. IIRC correctly he shouts that he's saved (like scientist who runs into the first grunt) but you can't bring him back to Earth with you :(
