Where is the train bound to, anyway? I mean, the only place a Combine train station has connections to are probably other Combine cities, the last place Gordon and the rebels want to go.

Ideas?

...yeah, the train in the end of the game.

As you said, to another City, or a wasteland depot. However, that would be miles upon miles away (probably in a completely different country as well). Alyx and Gordon weren't going to be picky about what train they chose to exit the City before they were vaporized, and would probably have jumped off once safely away.

I think Kleiner mentioned something about reworking the transit system to drop them off in the forest or something.

A train with a brain would be lame and insane, but mainly it's all the same unless there's rain, which would be a pain and ruin the game by slowing my frames and looking quite plain. You get what I'm sayin'?
