Hi,

I want to install HL2:EP1 on my new computer, but I don?t have an internet connection up?n?running yet, how do I do it?

Am I forced to find a cracked version since my bought copy doesn?t allow me to play without internet access?

You need internet to install it. It really is that simple.

In that case I suppose I can use a cracked version until my connection is up without feeling guilty.

It feels really lousy that I have to do it though...

So now you're going to "find" (aka download) a 900MB cracked version JUST to play HL2: EP1? How about you just take your computer to a friend's house and install it there (and in the meanwhile have a bad-ass two-player LAN party :D)

It would seem he already has a pirated version in his possession...

The key-word was "use", not "download". Which creates a whole new set of questions, like "why do you have an illegal version of EP1?" etc.
