Its mostly in the title, however, I have a DVI/VGA adapter that was supplied with my BFG660GTOC (Because my GPU has two DVI outputs). The signal seems to be alright when I attach my GPU to my CRT via the adapter.

However, it doesn't like to play nice when I attach a VGA TFT to my DVI GPU via the adapter. I want to know if its even possible to do this arrangement for TFT's, or if its just a CRT exclusive setup.

VGA is the same on a LCD or a CRT. Have you tried plugging the LCD into a different port on your PC or on someone else's machine with VGA? It should work fine.
