The most popular 3d fighter comes to Live :)
A rather big kick in the face for Sony too.

Dammed good news for 360 owners.
But I thought tekken followed by soul calibur was the most popular 3d fighter.

I don't think so. VF is the most popular choice for the big competitions and tournaments, and with people who like some depth to their beatemups. It's huge in Japan.

My bad, I meant to say 360.
I remember reading article about main guy behind VF - he was saying how he'd never take the series online as it couldn't match head to head play.

I just can't stand fighting games anymore. There's nothing new under the sun....
And a bigger kick to Sony's face was Dragon Quest IX going to the DS. :naughty:

Damn, if they bring over MGS4 I don't even have to touch a PS3. :P
So VF5 is going to be Live enabled? That's not going to work well at all, considering the lag and how precise the game is.
Virtual Fighter is so popular because all the moves in the game represent real moves from real martial arts. Well 95% of them anyway. Thats why the series is so popular. They make good games tbh.

Do people still play this after the 2nd one?
This game needs to die.

Yea this game is hugely popular in Japan, which is why this was such a big deal it's coming to the Xbox360.
Sony is losing a lot of it's exclusives that made the Playstation so popular over there. Now the Japanese can get the X360 for Blue Dragon and VF5...
If MGS4 came to the X360 camp, I think it would be safe to say good game sony...

Another kick in the nuts for Sony.
Cool stuff, though Microsoft need to fix the D-pad on the remote... Can't play fighting games with a joystick and the D-pad sucks on the 360.

I love these games. I was playing the VF2 not to long ago on my pc. Still, I didn't love it enough to buy a ps3 for it so this is great news for me.

If Ninja Gaiden Sigma comes to the 360 then there is no way in hell I will even touch the PS3.

Sigma will probably stay PS3 exclusive, but you'll forget about that as soon as you get to see Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360.

had a chance to play this game on my buddies ps3 today
must say it was pretty fun.. focused more on strategy and quick reflexes rather than button mashing which is great
no online play is huge disappointment though
so hopefully they'll decide to add it to the 360!
