Still having sound prob

I have been having trouble with my sound....i have 6 inputs on the back of my PC. 1 of them allows me to listen to anything but sound from an internet browser, the other allows me any kind of sound but gives a very loud humming noise, like a High E on a guitar.

My computer has an integrated sound card so i thought that might be a reason, so i put in a soundcard from my old computer but nothing happens....

If anyone knows why this might be happening, id appreciate some help, if not.....i might have to have, gulp, geek squad fix it. :O

I don't think by changing the card would work for u, I think it would be some setting with your Audio controls. I can't think more than that. :)
