how is that being paranoid? he probably *does* read this site. obviously his goal was to get it out so people could see it or he wouldnt have released it and just hacked it, looked at it and deleted it. if i was that guy id probably come here to silently gloat of my success. and u cant argue that bc obviously hes messed up. right? =\

Darkmaster0016, of course the hacker would be reading this. I'm sure just about anyone would like to know what's being said behind their back after they've done something like this.

And I don't think it was a single person. A crime like this would require a team of professionals. I can't imagine one person breaking into the very heart of Valve and stealing a third of the source card and a beta of the game itself.

I know a guy in real life named Gavin.
