This is one of the greatest commercials ive ever seen for a game. it just gives a strong emotion idk haha. also does anyone know what the song name is in the video? ive heard it many times and i love it, but i could never get the name of it.

Here's the problem: They have no business being with each other. Talk about a mismatch. Maybe I've not been sufficiently informed of the plot, but surely I'm not alone in thinking that the warbling of Gary Jules is a tad bit off the subject matter. Am I?

Oh, believe me. If they accompanied that trailer with some death metal cheese, I would refuse to buy the game out of sheer principle. But I think an excerpt from the game's score would have been more appropriate.

Still, I'll give it credit for trying something different. It beats the usual garbage of quick cuts, audio stabs, and all that other crap.

1) The lyrics fit perfectly with both the atmosphere of the game, and the content of the trailer.

2) The music is a distancing device.

Absolutely great choice of music. If they had used game music, they would have spliced in either ambient off-key military-band sounds, or combat music that would have done nothing but destroy the flow and lyricism of the visuals of the commercial.
