http://www.myspace.com/deviltown some of the quality might seem bad becuse Daniel would record his music on a cassette player and give them out, I believe he is autistic and as of now he cant remember the lyrics to the songs so whenever he plays live he has to read it, but check it out let your brain get used to it

I LOVE Daniel Johnston, Walking The Cow is one of my favourite songs ever, TV On The Radio do an amazing cover of it. He's not autistic, he's a schizo who spent time in mental hospitals and thought he could see the devil and stuff, he's strangely innocent though. Started recording on a shitty little tape player when he was like 17. I haven't had a chance to see the documentary The Devil And Daniel Johnston yet, but I hear it's wonderful

if you like his stuff i think its a little comparable to the microphones or phil elverum so check him out too
