WTF is this? :D

My friend played a song on his MP3 player for me, Something left of the flag, IIRC, and it was some kind of weird combination of some kind of folk music and rock.

I loved it. :D :D :D

*goes off to find more songs*

EDIT: ohshit, wrong forum D:

Yeah, Dropkick Murphys also do this sort of thing. Pretty fun stuff really.

Also look up Gogol Bordello--a mix of gypsy/ Ukranian folk/punk that makes an amazing listen. Enjoy! (Listen to samples here (http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=6900287&BAB=M). ;) My favs are Immigrant Punk, 60 Revolutions, Oh No, and the classic, Strat Wearing Purple.)

I'm wearing my Flogging Molly shirt. You could say I'm a fan. I'd recommend you something, but really just pick an album at random (although some of the live recordings are hit and miss).

And if the chance presents itself GO SEE THEM LIVE. If you don't have fun you're clinically dead.

Heh, I was into Flogging Molly about three years ago, I had to stop wearing my shirt cause I started dating a girl named Molly and people would make fun of me, haha. I met them a few years ago, really nice people, the violinist is gorgeous

D: Me too! The green one that I got free with their dvd and cd.

I'm wearing my Flogging Molly hoody!

YOU MUST SEE THEM LIVE. The most fun you can possibly have at a gig. Ever.

I actually got pulled aside by a guy at work once who saw my shirt. Apparently he'd played with a small group called the Ruffians who got to open for Flogging Molly on occasion in my area. He could not say enough about how awesome they were as people and how amazed he was at their dedication.

He also mentioned that the dudes from Dropkick Murphies were kinda jerks. :D

Saw them live a year or two ago. Bloody awesome. Sadly I'm wearing my Hammerfall t-shirt as my flogging molly one is in the wash. I feel left out.

Gotta love the mix of Irish Folk and punk. *puts on Flogging Molly on winamp to compensate for not wearing t-shirt.*

They rock! Salty Dog is such a good song, What's Left Of The Flag is a great one too.

I love Drunken Lullabies. :D

Got begrugingly dragged along to a concert of theirs in Tampa by some friends, and was mesmerized from the first song. (But good lord, those opening bands were terrible.) Suffice it to say I'm a big fan now. :E

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Flogging Molly. It's a great mix of Irish folk and punk. Plus their accordion player is a pro skater.

I met their guitarist at a burger stand at a festival a few months ago, and he was a bloody nice man.

Their old lead singer was actually a really pleasant and sincere guy. I respect him greatly--can't speak for the other members of the band.

Eh I'm not a huge fan, but Druken Lullabies is a right old teenage soundtrack tune.

They played right near here, in Humboldt Country, California, not long ago. I don't think I've actually heard any of their music, though.

Great fan of Flogging Molly. Started off with my sister playing me Drunken Lullabies a good few times, and I really loved it. Great mix of sounds.
Reminds me of the Corrs. But on Acid.

13572347, you do know that Flogging Molly supports the IRA, a communist terrorist group, don't you?

Bologna. Perhaps the best proof of that is their spontaneous on-state jig when the IRA announced that they were laying down there arms. Also, knowing a little info on some of the band members biographies is convincing that their relationship with the group is at BEST mixed.
