Anyone know how I can pull the Red Alert or Red Alert 2 music of the CDs? I really want to hear them outside the games (and use them for some school stuff. I saw "Hell March" allied with "A piece of theatre involving the Pledge of Allegience to America" and it was brilliant.)

It depends on what kind of file they are wrapped up in. You can then search on Google for some some of extractor for whatever file type it is. That's how I got the music and sound fx from Tron 2.0, Postal 2, etc. Good luck!

That said, if they are not in some packed-up format, iTunes can actually rip the stuff off the discs for you too potentially.

As far as I can remember, the XCC utilities are more than adequate for extracting the .aud music files. Did it myself:

Here baby, you owe me one. (http://xhp.xwis.net/) In my trailer, now :p
