That's a rather silly attitude.
/windows vista is released

Yeah....can you use the words "Windows ME works just fine" in that order without causing some rip or tear in the universe?

Windows ME works just fine if you don't install a bottle of spyware

Ok I've had it for a day now. 2 things, I can't make a google search with the toolbar open in a new tab; and I can't choose to open a file once it's done downloading.

I don't think there is a way to. What I do is Ctrl+t then search.
You can't open a file once it has finished? Weird. Try right-clicking and selecting Open.

I rather like the new version. It has a session saver built into it which is one less extension I have to download now. :) So far I haven't had any problems with it either. Looks a lot better than 1.5 too.

Instead of hitting enter to search, press alt+enter and it will load the search results in a new tab.

They are kinda forcing me to use tabs, but I'm getting use to them. Yes I've been using Firefox for 5 years and haven't used tabs. Now I use them often but still keep several windows open ;)

I oftenly use it by selecting a word and dragging it to the googlebar. Now it loads the search in the front tab, instead of a new one in the background.

Anybody know how I can get rid of this crappy bar? I've tried reinstalling, changing themes, windows visual styles, everything I can think of...
This just started now that I got 2.0 installed.

Maybe try turning the status bar off and then back on? Under the View menu.
Nothing else is down there except plugin icons. Whats the red arrow on the left? Actually it probably has something to do with a plugin/theme you had. Go to tools and Add-ons and disable them. I only used a couple plugins and they had updates I assume for the new FF version.

I had tried the status bar thing, just gets rid of the actual status bar above this horrible one. I had already deleted all previous plugins and themes I had before :(
EDIT: Woo, registry entry removals got rid of it.
BUT
I found another very strange problem with my computer. I was going in a normal windows explorer window (any folder open) to click "Tools" then "Folder Options" to do something...only to find the "Folder Options" entry wasn't even there. I found another way to make it come up by adding it to the toolbar on every window I open. I click THAT "Folder Options" button and nothing happens... WTF would do this?
No clue there. You dont have OPTIONS under Tools on firefox? :x
