since i reformatted my HDD my graphics have been rubbish.
for example:
when i throw a smoke grenade and rune inside the smoke i get dark green in the smoke. i have downloaded the latest softwear for my card.
i have a
nvidia geforce 5200+
AMD athlon xp processor
k7-triton motherboard
512mb ram

If the only problem is the colours, I'd go into your card's color management center and make sure the red/green/blue channels are set to default.

whats wrong with green smoke? if thats all that is wrong then i wouldnt worry about it.

Maybe you've got the brightness on you monitor set too high? Sometimes shadows can look greenish in games when I set my contrast/brightness to full on my monitor.

I think I see your problem. It's pretty slight, and looks like a problem with your computer's color range.
Make sure your card and CSS are set to use 32-bit color. If you're on an LCD, try turning color-correction on in the CSS video settings (though I'm not sure if that directly applies to the problem).
What is the shader setting in Video Options set to? Do you know what DX version the game is running in? DX8.1 DX9?

yes that was it i had bot brightness and contrast on 100% :O
