In this thread I want people to list their TOP ONE favourite game quote that they can think off structured like mine preferably, with the name of the character at the end, then after that the game, and only TOP ONE, this to reduce long posts with a ton of quotes.:) If you want you can do a SHORT description why it's your fav.:)
Here's goes.

"The truth was a burning green crack through my brain. Weapon statistics hanging in the air, glimpsed out of the corner of my eye. Endless repetition of the act of shooting, time slowing down to show off my moves, the paranoid feel of someone controlling my every step. I was in a computer game. Funny as Hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think off!"
-Max Payne, Max Payne 1

I find this to be such a hilarious quote because it's just so bloody funny imo, it's even more funny when you hear him say it with his serious dark voice!

JC Denton: "Electronic surveillance hardly inspires reverence. Perhaps fear and obedience, but not reverence."
Morpheus: "God and the gods were apparitions of observation, judgement and punishment. Other sentiments towards them were secondary."
JC Denton: "No one will ever worship a software entity peering at them through a camera."
Morpheus: "The human organism always worships. First, it was the gods, then it was fame (the observation and judgement of others), next it will be self-aware systems you have built to realise truly omnipresent observation and judgement."
JC Denton: "You underestimate humankind's love of freedom."
Morpheus: "The individual desires judgement. Without that desire, the cohesion of groups is impossible, and so is civilisation."

Deus Ex, of course.

JC Denton: "Our governments have limited power by design."

JC Denton: "I give up."
Isaac: "Well-paid researchers - how do you say it? - 'think tanks,' funded by big businesses. What is that? A 'think tank'?"
JC Denton: "Hardly as sinister as a dictator, like China’s Premier."
Isaac: "It’s privately-funded propaganda. The Trilateral Commission in the United States for instance."
JC Denton: "The separation of powers acknowledges the petty ambitions of individuals; that’s its strength."
Isaac: "A system organized around the weakest qualities of individuals will produce these same qualities in its leaders."
JC Denton: "Perhaps certain qualities are an inseparable part of human nature.
Isaac: "The mark of the educated man is the suppression of these qualities in favor of better ones. The same is true of civilization."

or rather...

"Fellow Terrans, I come to you in the wake of recent events to issue a call to reason. Let no human deny the perils of our time. While we battle one another, divided by the petty strife of our common history, the tide of greater conflict is turning against us, threatening to destroy all that we have accomplished. It is time for us as nations and as individuals to set aside our long-standing feuds and unite. The tides of an unwinnable war are upon us, and we must seek refuge on higher ground, lest we be swept away by the flood. The Confederacy is no more. Whatever symbols of unity and protection it once provided is a phantom, a memory. With our enemies left unchecked, who will you turn to for protection? The devastation brought by the alien invaders is self-evident. We have seen our homes and villages destroyed by the calculated blows of the Protoss. We have seen first hand our friends and loved ones consumed by the nightmarish Zerg. Unprecedented and unimaginable though they may be, these are the signs of our time. The time has come my fellow Terrans to rally to a new banner. In unity lies strength; already many of the dissident factions have joined us. Out of the many we shall forge an indivisible whole capitulating only to a single throne, and from that throne I shall watch over you. From this day forward let no human make war upon any other human, let no Terran agency conspire against this new beginning, and let no man consort with alien powers, and to all the enemies of humanity seek not to bar our way, for we shall win through, no matter the cost."

" Tell me, Dr. Freeman, if you can. You have destroyed so much. What is it, exactly, that you have created? Can you name even one thing?... I thought not." - Dr. Breen

"Dr. Freeman, you really shouldn't be out there. At the moment of synapse as I teleport this chamber will be bathed in deadly particles that have yet to be named by human science. Perhaps when I have the leisure to do the work myself, I'll name one of them after you, that way you won't be completely forgotten.
When the Singularity collapses I will be far away from here, in another universe as a matter of fact. You on the other hand will be destroyed in everyway it is possible to BE destroyed and even in some, which are essentially impossible!" - Dr. Breen, Half-life 2.

Two of the best lines in gaming.

And of course, another of my faves.

The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No-one is more deserving of a rest. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes.
Well, Gordon, I see your HEV Suit still fits you like a glove. At least, the glove parts do.

And just about every line spoken in Max Payne 1 and 2.

Such as one:

Narrator: Previously, on "Lords and Ladies".
Laurence: Lady Amelia, Arkey Valentine asks for an audience.
Lady: Thank you, Laurence.
Lord: My Lady!
Lady: My Lord?
Narrator: And now, an all new episode of Lords and Ladies, brought to you in part by Aesir Corporation.
Music plays
Lord: My Lady...
Lady: My Lord?
Lord: My Lady, there is a matter of great importance I must bring to your attention.
Lady: My Lord, there is?
Lord: Indeed, my Lady, there is indeed. From the very first moment we met, upon that distant forest path, there's been sunlight in the autumn leaves, blazing like the colors of your hair.
Lady: Oh my Lord, you should not speak so.
Lord: But my Lady, I must, I must.
Lady: My Lord, no, I forbid you. This cannot be, this must not be.
Lord: But why, my love, why?
Lady: My Lord, it is too dreadful. Do not force me to speak the words.
Lord: My Lady, I beg of you, I must know. I would rather die than not know.
Lady: Yes, my Lord, we should both be dead, for the shame is too great for the living. My Lord... I am... My Lord, I am your long-lost sister.
Music plays

Man, anything from Starcraft or Warcraft, those games crack me up. Particularly this exchange (it was around two months of playing before I heard the second part of this, and I almost lost the game from laughing)

Demonhunter: Darkness called… But I was on the phone, so I missed him. I tried to *69 Darkness, but his machine picked up. I yelled "Pick up the phone, Darkness!," but he ignored me. Darkness must have been screening his calls.

Dreadlord: (phone rings) "Yes? Darkness, hey, what's up? The Demon Hunter left you a message? No I don't have his number."

More Max Payne!

Up on that rooftop I was a Ninja, my Kung Fu was strong. I wasn't kidding anybody. At best I was Superman on kryponite, about to fall into where it all went down. Max Payne, Max Payne

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Max Payne, Max Payne

I had a bullet with Nicole Horne's name on it. I had ten thousand bullets with the hag's name on them. She had ultra high-tech security systems, enough mercenaries and weaponry to start World War III. There was no fear. Max Payne, Max Payne
