Let me try to rephrase that.

You have a Pentium Dual core cpu with 4 GigaHert so that is around 8 Gigahert Geforce 7800 250 Gigabyte GTX harddrive of 51220 inches long, all in a single LCD screen? Woah.

That'd be cool. Just plug you m&k into the monitor and you're good to go.

That'd be cool. Just plug you m&k into the monitor and you're good to go get your face exploded from the massive overheating.Fixed :p

^same

FYI, you can't add CPU ghz. Doesn't work that way. =p
It's a 4GHz dual core CPU.

Omgz Intel Kentsfield @ 3.7ghz = 14.8ghz lolz!!! kentsfield = 90% faster per Ghz than the Pentium D => Pentium D 28ghz OLOLOLO

I would recommend this computer to all good bookshops.

He'd also do well to shorten his signature to 4 lines or i'll be expecting him to rate his ban.

"it has a pentium processor dual core each with 3.99 gh so thats around 8gh 250 gb hard drive nvidia geforce 7800 gtx 512 20 in lcd screen"

sorry if that hurt ur head but i mean i have a pentium processor dual core with two(2) 3.99 gigahertz processors, which totals up to around 8 gigahertz
it has a 250 gigabyte hard drive
the graphics card is the nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX with 512 megabytes of memory
and it has a 20 inch lcd screen

actually i got the processor from my dad's work comps they upgraded from the 8 gigahertz to 9 recently they need big processors to run kitea (very complex design program) and my dad brought a comp home. i bought the graphics card and hd installed all of it into an old 3.1 box then took it all apart and mounted it onto the wall of my room using extra cables bc everything went real far apart. btw i live in my basement and during the summer it never gets above 80F. i took apart an old furnace (like the kind that is in your house) and took the fan out of it and it runs constantly on my comp along with the standard fans and heat sinks already on the processors. so i dont really think i have a problem with overheating, do u?

btw is my sig better now?

Wow, integrated you mean? You won't get far with no RAM though :P

You have to consider a 4GHz dual core CPU in the same way you would 2 computers with a single 4GHz CPU.
There are 2..but they are not 8GHz. =p

crap forgot to mention ram around 2 gigs
it has a 16x write speed dvd drive
no it does not have internet unless u count a modem that isnt measured in kb/s
and when i say it has a dual core it has 1 motherboard and 2 processors total processing power of the system is around 8 gigahertz, so by reason of eyes when i go to start-control panel-system it says intel pentium4. Processor 1:3.99GHz, Processor 2:3.99 GHz Total system processing speed:8 GHz

and btw the screen is mounted on my celing, so it is sort of integrated bc my comp isnt in a box like urs probably is

i realize this is kind of a stupid thread now, but i just wanted to compare it to other ppl's comps its just something i threw together from some dead comps and i had the spare hard drive from another computer all it has on it is hl2 and other source games and doom 3 but god i can run hl2 lost coast (windowed) and doom3 at the same time

it'll probably fry soon but hell i just did this for kicks and im gonna put the graphics card in my desktop soon and take everything apart before it fries

plz stop slamming my comp just tell me what u think or have some mod close the post

The man is terribly and severely misinformed. Probably the guy at Best Buy got him (Point-blank) for the kill. 8GHz....? Fikin lol. I think the joke is on us, pulling a fast one on us. I wonder if that system can boot HL2 on high settings.

Let me explain the poor guy whats going on:

What these nice people are telling you is that; Yes you do (may) have dual-core Intel CPU based system, and yes it (may) be clocked @3.99GHz (Each). But when it comes to dual-core; it's completely different ball-game than single-core, as to how these two CPUs will work and programs will take advantage of. One you have single-core 3.99GHz CPU, well you have one single-core 3.99GHz CPU. When you have dual-core 3.99GHz (Each) CPU, you have two 3.99GHz CPU and not 8GHz CPU. Why? because any application you execute will only use one CPU (Of the dual-core) and not Both CPUs, this comes down to when you load a game, that game will only use 50% of the processing power since one of the CPU will be designated to be the application handler.
There are few application that will use both CPUs separately, but still both CPUs will work/idle independently, and this will still bring you down to my original theory which is "You have two CPUs each at 3.99GHz and not the total of 8GHz".

I hope I made sense.

Good Luck.

take ur fingers find the tip of ur nose go up an inch and then spread them about an inch toward ur ears in either direction. these are called eyes u need to use them.

Well some of us already rated the machine. It should run great. Just saying when you have 2 cpus or 2 cores you dont' add. Simple as that. You just say you have 2 of them. Because adding is mis informing what you actually have.

Like I have a Dual Core Athlon 64 X2 4600+ (2.4GHz). I don't say I have a dual core 4.8 GHz pc. That would be incorrect. Same with a Dual CPU system. Don't be offended. It wasn't intended to. It might clear up how people react to your post as well.

ok sorry its just the thing is faster than hell and it says it is an 8 GHz processor and not 2 individual 4 GHz processors
